The Kentai Karate-Do Academy specializes in traditional Karate-Do instruction. Karate-Do translated means "Empty Hand Way". The curriculum is based on the practice of traditional Japanese/Okinawan Karate. This includes the use of weapons and the practice of grappling. The concepts of Honor, Courtesy, Loyalty, Respect and Self-Discipline are taught and reinforced in our Dojo. We practice and preach the ultimate aim of Karate as written by Master Gichin Funakoshi:
